The Lehigh River Watershed in East-Central Pennsylvania  encompasses approximately 1279 square miles above Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  The river stretches 107 miles from its source in Glendon to Easton where it flows into the Delaware.  The Lehigh is the second largest tributary of the Delaware after the Schuylkill.  See the Lehigh River Watershed Association and the Lehigh River Stocking Association for information about citizen efforts to restore the river.  Lehigh Valley Water Suppliers, Inc.  also has information on the River.
