The Alliance for a Sustainable Future - a coalition seeking solutions to local problems in a global context.

The Assunpink Creek Watershed Association is an organization of citizens working together towards the preservation of the natural resources of the Assunpink Creek and its tributary streams.

The Brandywine Conservancy's Environmental Management Center exists to conserve the natural and cultural resources of the Brandywine River watershed and other selected areas with a primary emphasis on conservation of water quantity and quality.

The Brandywine Valley Association, the oldest watershed organization in America founded in 1945, is an organization of citizens  dedicated to promote the restoration, conservation, and enjoyment of the natural resources of the Brandywine Valley watershed through education and advocacy.

Clean Air Council - a member- supported, non-profit environmental organization dedicated to protecting everyone's right to breathe clean air.

Darby Creek Valley Association- a volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of all the Darby Creek watershed's resources, including water, wildlife, historical sites, and the floodplain.

The Delaware Estuary Program - information on the Delaware Estuary, the River from Trenton to the Atlantic.

Delaware River Basin Commission - a governmental agency with membership from Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the Federal Government  for river basin planning, development and regulation.

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network is a nonprofit, membership organization that has worked since 1988 to strengthen citizen protection of the Delaware River and its tributary watersheds.

 The EnviroWeb is a clearinghouse of information from volunteer environmental organizations, municipal Environmental Commissions, and concerned citizens on issues related to environmental protection in Atlantic, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties, New Jersey. 

Genesis Farm - a learning center for earth education in Blairstown, NJ.

Green Valleys Association is an environmental organization with a misison to protect the watersheds of Northern Chester County Pennsylvania, five creeks that flow into the Schuylkill River.

Hamilton-Trenton Marsh - an educational site of Friends for the Marsh on a critical wetlands area.

The Lenni Lenape Tribe - website of the original human  inhabitants of the Delaware Watershed.

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, Inc.  is a regional, non-profit organization, based in Wilmington, Delaware, that is dedicated to the promotion and conservation of the Delaware Estuary.

Philadelphia Sustainable Business Network - a group of businesses devoted to creating a local, living economy in the greater Philadelphia region.

The Red Clay Valley Association, the second oldest small watershed organization in America, was founded in 1952 by a group of Delaware and Pennsylvania residents for the purpose of protection and conservation of the natural resources in the Red Clay Watershed.

The Schuylkill River - a site with information on the Schuylkill watershed.

Schuylkill Watershed Conservation Plan - a partnership among The Conservation Fund, Natural Lands Trust and the Patrick Center for Environmental Research of The Academy of Natural Sciences to develop a conservation plan for the Schuykill River watershed.

Stop the Cornog Water Grab is a citizens effort to prevent withdrawal of water from the East Branch of the Brandywine Creek and  represents the difficulty of protecting watersheds from additional suburban sprawl.

Swarthmore College's Waterrshed Website provides information on courses and projects at Swarthmore College related to watersheds, and it serves other local organizations that support watershed studies and watershed stewardship. It also contains links to useful watershed related web sites around the U.S. and the world.
